For many business owners and mega-agents, the question “Where will you be in 10 years?” generally involves fancy economic models showing how many sales they project to make, organizational charts, and ancillary businesses they plan to start up. Those things are important. The answers to this question should really take a broader view, casting a vision of your life as a whole, from home to business to spirituality and everything in between.
Where will you be in 10 years?
Ask yourself this question: Where will I be in 10 years? Write your own response and focus on the quality of your life, not just the process of it. How old will you be? How old will others around you be and what stages of their life will they be experiencing? Get really clear about what you want the next decade of your life to look like.

Write Your own
Write your own 10 Year Goals letter. Remember that life is always a work in progress, so don’t feel that this has to be a masterpiece, it’s most important to get your thoughts and wishes down on paper.

Read your 10 Year Goal with someone. Why read it out loud? The power of the spoken word is tremendous. Watch this video from Navy Seal and ultra-runner Chadd Wright to illustrate its power.
Whether or not I coach you, work with you, or whether I even know you or not, I’d love to see your letter or hear how this exercise has impacted you.
