Do Your Willings Equal Your Wants?

One of the biggest questions that we all face at some point in our lives is, “How can I achieve what I truly want?” Whether it’s to become financially free, to find the love of your life, or to improve your health, we all have something that we deeply desire. However, it’s not enough to simply want something; we also have to be willing to do what it takes to get it.

The truth is that wanting without willingness is a recipe for inner civil war. It creates a state of limbo where we constantly feel stuck, unable to move forward or achieve what we truly desire. So, how do we stoke the fire of our willingness? How do we get ourselves to become more willing to live the lifestyle necessary to achieve our desires?

The answer lies in our “why.” As cliche as it may sound, understanding the reason behind our desire can be a powerful motivator. It can help us tap into a deeper sense of purpose and drive that propels us towards our goals.

To start, choose one thing that you are committed to creating in your life. It could be your health, your finances, your relationships, your business, or anything else that resonates with you. Once you have chosen your focus, take some time to write down ten reasons why achieving this goal is an all-out commitment for you. These reasons should be deeply personal and meaningful to you.

By doing this, you will be stoking the fire of your willingness. You will be reminding yourself of why this goal is important to you and why you are committed to achieving it. This can help you push through any obstacles or challenges that may arise along the way.

However, if you still find yourself unable to follow through on your commitment, it may be time to reevaluate your desires. Sometimes, we may think we want something, but in reality, it’s not truly aligned with our values or purpose. In these cases, it’s better to let go of the want and focus on something that truly resonates with us.

In conclusion, if you want to achieve your desires, you must be willing to do what it takes to get there. By understanding your “why” and stoking the fire of your willingness, you can create a sense of purpose and drive that propels you towards your goals. Remember, wanting without willingness is a recipe for inner civil war, so take the time to connect with your deeper sense of purpose and commitment.
